What is the difference between Static & Dynamic design?

Can I make changes to my own website?

Can you design sites that require passwords to access?
Absolutely. Websites can be created which allow one or many people access to certain parts of the website. Another popular feature is to allow people to register accounts which then allow them access upon approval.

How long does it take to have a web site designed and how much is it going to cost me?
GallantMEDIA works quickly to make sure that your customers can find you online as soon as possible. When the moon and stars have been aligned just right we've built websites in just a day, though depending on many different influences, this can take up to several weeks or longer. GallantMEDIA specializes in quick, professional service! Rush projects that require work to be completed outside of scheduled timelines or that push another job already in progress may be billed at a higher rate unless special arrangements have otherwise been made in advance.

Total cost ultimately depends on how many pages, images and how much content you're looking to put into your website. For example, building an online store full of merchandise takes longer than building a simple informational website. Do you use flash and should my entire web site be designed using Flash?
Flash is a software program that creates cool and jazzy special effects and animation to make your website attractive. There are some websites that have Flash elements included in the website, or at times you may see some websites that have been created completely in Flash.

The problem is that Flash is not very search engine friendly which makes them difficult for the search engines to index, plus Flash files are generally large and slow to download. Flash is also not viewable on Apple smartphones or tablets.  For these reasons we do not usually create a website completely in Flash, though we occasionally use Flash pieces to spice up a page.

Can I choose GallantMEDIA to design my site but choose another web host?
We can certainly work with any web hosting company and/or domain registration company you've chosen to deal with. We do recommend, however, that if you haven't yet registered a domain name and/or hosting to let us handle that for you. If desired, we can even switch a domain name and hosting account from one company to our provider.

We deal with the same hosting company for 99% of our clients because they're safe, secure, easy to deal with and offer some of the most competitive pricing in the industry. Also, some website scripting or coding requires certain server requirements that your hosting company may or may not provide, therefore it's optimal if we can register the domain name and hosting for you as we'll know what's required and what's offered.

Your prices are lower / higher than other companies.  Does that mean your services are better / worse than these other companies?
Are our prices the lowest in the industry? No.
Are our prices the highest in the industry? Absolutely not.

Do you use pre-made templates or create custom websites?
GallantMEDIA may, unless otherwise requested, use pre-made website templates as a base for your design. These templates are fully customizable. In most cases we could use the same template for two different companies and the finished products would look nothing alike. We use these templates simply to save you time and money.

Creating a custom, original design from scratch could take upwards of 20 hours alone, before any of the coding is done, where as we can purchase a pre-made template much cheaper and spend only 2 hours customizing it, for example, saving you hundreds of dollars. Depending on your needs, however, we can certainly create a custom, original design.

What about weekly, monthly or yearly website maintenance?
Our clients can choose to remain on a strictly hourly basis or may choose from several yearly maintenance plans.  Purchasing a block of time in advance will give you a much better rate over going hourly.  Maintenance plan hours may be used towards updating sales, specials, pictures, content, products etc.  Contact us to find out more about our website maintenance packages.

Deposit and payment information.
GallantMEDIA may require a deposit or down payment in advance of starting your project. This helps to offset some of our initial costs as well as secures our working relationship. Deposits are non refundable.
